Great Sandals These finial gave up the ghost, after 2 years, bought in March of 2023, Gave up May 2025, not a bad time frame as much as I wear them, which is everywhere except where I have to wear leather boots.

The sole material feels like a textured rubber that's grippy to the feet and feels soft.

The arch support is great and better than any other sandal I’ve had in the past.

They capture the foot well, arch support is nice, and great looking leather uppers.

Reasonably soft heel-strike with an average width footbed and just the right amount of arch support.

What attracted me aside for the decent styling is the pronounced arch support and because I have flat feet it makes a world of difference.

That being said, I have tried about twenty different sandals to find a couple that fit reasonably snug.

My preferences are light weight, comfortable, with a heel strike that has some padding.

These are one of the most comfortable sandals in this line-up.

A minor complaint I have is that the design of the top Velcro strap on the Forebay makes the strap appear wide and chunky compared to the strap on the Dozer III.

The reason I mentioned being overweight is because the tongue of the shoes are sometimes so skinny that they do not cover the front part of the ankle well and the fit can look very sloppy.

Additional note (8/6/19) - I've now worn these sandals every day since I received them.

I work at home so I wear them all day every day.

The soles of the sandals also seem built to last as they haven't cracked or worn down very much.

Still, I might buy another pair to put away for the day that these super-sandals wear out.
